Building Jobs

I know that our area’s quality of life depends on bringing good paying jobs here. As your state assemblyman, bringing businesses and more jobs to Northern Wisconsin will be my top priority.

Real Tax Relief

It is time to stop the tax increases. I support fiscal responsibility – if working families can live on a tight budget, so can state government. If elected, I will introduce limiting property tax increases to under the rate of inflation. Government shouldn’t be growing faster than people’s ability to pay.

DNR Reform

From job creation to managing the deer herd, the leadership of the DNR has become unaccountable to us. I will work to structurally reform the agency that touches every one of us in northern Wisconsin.

Back to Basics

State government has overpromised and underperformed through the last few years. The people of Wisconsin expect to have good schools, good roads and appropriate public safety infrastructure. Allowing Wisconsin’s foundation to crumble while pursuing a wish list with credit card spending is not in the Wisconsin tradition. The paternalistic attitude of forcing mandates on to local governments harms the very communities state government claims to be helping.
